چکیده
Introduction: Follicular Lymphoma (FL) is an indolent disease: despite the efficacy of treatment strategies in inducing remission, high risk patients relapse within two years and others on long term. Despite encouraging studies prognostic role Total Metabolic Tumor Volume (TMTV) SUVmax at baseline PET/CT needs to be better defined. Methods: Retrospective observational monocentric cohort study performed Sapienza University Rome. All affected by FL who underwent a basal staging were included. Patients fulfilled GELF criteria received different treatment, according guidelines clinical judgment. stratified assessed onset. Two subgroups identified compared terms PFS OS: A) Basal < 6; B) > 6. Results: Ninety-four included, 34 group A (36,2%) 60 B (63,8%). Five-year whole was 87,5%, 74,5% for 95% (p 0.005). Nevertheless, comparable groups (97%). correlation between observed FLIPI categories. In low-risk (48.3%) significantly superior term A, follow-up 92% 66,7% respectively 0.012) (Figure 1A-B). No significant association subgroup intermediate 0.180) high-risk 0.317). Multivariate analysis all parameters assessed, confirmed presence >6 as independent favorable factor PSF (OR 0.234; IC 0.58-0.934; p 0.04) well BM involvement diagnosis unfavorable (odds ratio [OR] 5.98; 1.5-23.3; 0.011). Was finally explored based least features considered indicator aggressive disease (bone marrow involvement, elevated LDH, β2-microglobulin, extra-nodal disease, bulky B-symptoms) 1D). Conclusion: Our data demonstrate predictor, especially with FL. Even without other factors, low tumor metabolic activity exhibit higher long-term probability. Baseline evaluation, its simple assessment, could help identifying late relapse, requiring strict and, potentially, MRD monitoring. Follicular lymphoma (FL) is one of the most common types of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. It is usually diagnosed at an advanced stage, for which many treatment options exist, however, no curative standard therapy has been identified. The outcome is highly variable with a median survival of approximately 10 years. The life expectancy of patients with FL has been extended with the use of rituximab, a ...

Objective(s): Single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) using metaiodobenzylguanidine (MIBG) is an important diagnostic tool for the treatment of refractory pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma (PPGL). Owing to the difficulty of SPECT quantification, the tumour-to-background ratio (TBR) is used to assess disease activity. However, the utility of TBR is limited o...
